Extensions in Chrome are designed to update automatically when you restart the browser. However, there might be instances where the updates are delayed for a few days. But don’t worry, you can manually trigger the update process. To update your Chrome extensions manually, simply follow the next steps.
1.Find the three vertical dots (1) in the upper-right corner of the page and click on them. Then click Settings in the drop-down shown.
2. Now in the side menu, scroll down until you’ll find the Extensions tab and click on it.
4. When the Extensions page opens, turn the Developer mode switcher to on.
5. Thereafter, click on the Update button, placed in the developer’s menu bar. Now wait a bit, and restart your browser.
