How to integrate Group Doorman with MailerLite

To integrate MailerLite with Group Doorman, you’ll need to install our Chrome extension for the group you’re currently managing. You will also need a MailerLite account.

Adding MailerLite to Group Doorman integrations

1.To get started, open up Group Doorman and head over to the ‘Manage groups’ tab (1). Now click +Add integrations (2).

2. Find MailerLite in the list shown and click on it.

3. Choose to create a new account or select an existing one if you have already set up an account for another group and wish to reuse it.

Getting API token

4. Next go to MailerLite, click on Integrations (1), and then click Use (2).

5. Now click Generate new token.

6. Type in the token name, check the Terms of Use checkbox (1), and click Create token (2).

7. Now copy your generated API token (1). We also recommend downloading a copy for safekeeping (2).

8. Paste previously copied data into the designated field (1) on the Group Doorman form. Click Save and continue (2) when you’ve finished.

Creating a group at MailerLite

9. To create a new group in MailerLite, go to Subscribers (1), then Groups (2). And now Click Create group (3).

10. Type the name of your group in the designated field (1), and then hit the Create button (2).

11. Choose the group you’ve created from a drop-down list in the Group Doorman form.

Creating Custom fields

Group Doorman allows you to post your group members’ responses to MailerLite using custom fields. You’ll need to specify which response corresponds to each field. Additionally, Group Doorman can automatically generate default custom fields for you. To do this, simply click on the “Create Fields for Answers” button.

12. To create a custom field manually at MaileLite, click Subscribers (1), then Fields (2), and Create field (3).

13. Fill in all the required fields and click Create

14. Manage the Custom fields block in the Group Doorman form, choosing the ones, that were created at Mailer Lite(1) or create a new one right away (2). You can also select Refresh fields (3) if you were changing custom fields at MailerLite currently. When you’re done managing custom fields, click Save and close (4).
