To integrate Klaviyo with Group Doorman, you’ll need to install our Chrome extension for the group you’re currently managing. You’ll also need a Klaviyo account.
Adding Klaviyo to Group Doorman integrations
1.Let’s get started with setting up your integration! First, head over to the Manage Groups tab in Group Doorman (1), and then click on the blue button that says +Add Integrations (2).
2. Next, scroll down the list of options, find Klaviyo, and then click on it.
3. Once you select Klaviyo, a set-up form will appear. You have the option to either create a new account or use an existing one if you’ve set one up for another group.
Adding API key at Klaviyo
4. Head over to Klaviyo and click on your profile in the lower-left corner of the page (1). Next, click on Settings (2) in the pop-up window that appears.
5. Once you’re on the settings page (1), navigate to the API Keys tab (2) and select Create Private API Key button (3) to generate your API key. Please keep in mind that the Public API key won’t work for the Group Doorman integration.
6. To create your Group Doorman integration, you’ll need to generate a Private API Key. Lets start by giving it a name (1). Next, to ensure your integration works smoothly with Group Doorman, select the Full Access Key option for your API key access level. Once you’re all set, click the Create button (3) to generate your key.
7. Your API key is now ready to use! You can see it on the confirmation page (1). Now click on the Copy Key button (2). It’s always a good idea to save your key locally in case you need it later. Once you’re ready, click the Done button (3) to move on.
8. Find the field for your API key on the Group Doorman setup form and paste it in (1). Then, click the Save and Continue button (2) to proceed.
Creating a List in Klaviyo
9. Let’s start by going to the left side menu and clicking on Audience (1). Then, select Lists & segments from the dropdown menu (2). Once you’re there, click on the Create List / Segment button (3) located in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
10. Select List from the available options on the Create page.
11. On the Create List page, give your list a name (1) and select a tag from the existing list or create a new one (2). Then click Create List button (3) to complete the process.

12. Now go to the Group Doorman integration setup form, and choose the list you’ve just created from the dropdown list (1), or select one of the default lists that were created during registration with Klaviyo. Once you’ve made your selection, click the Save and Close button (2), and you’re all set!
