To integrate Omnisend with Group Doorman, you’ll need to install our Chrome extension for the group you’re currently managing. You’ll also need an Omnisend account.
Adding Omnisend to Group Doorman integrations
1.Let’s start by opening Group Doorman and going to the Manage groups tab (1). Once there, just click on the +Add integration button (2) and you’ll be able to smoothly set up your integration.
2. Next, take a look at the list of integrations that are available, find Omnisend, and click on it.
3. When selecting Omnisend, a setup form will appear. At this point, you can opt to either create a new account or simply choose an existing one if you’ve worked with Omnisend previously.
Adding API key
4. Afterward, navigate to your Omnisend profile. Simply click on your profile icon, followed by selecting the Store Settings icon (2) from the drop-down menu that appears.
5. Once you’re on the Settings page, scroll down, until you’ll notice the API keys tab (1)in the sidebar menu. Go ahead and click on it.
6. Now find the Create API Key button in the right upper corner and click on it.
7. On the page open, type in the API key name (1), set the permissions for the API Key (2), and click on the Save button (3).
8. To copy your API Key, just click on the little copy icon located on the left side of the field. Easy-peasy! 😊
9. Head on over to the Group Doorman form and simply paste in your API Key (1) where it asks for it. Next, click on the Save and continue button (2).
A Completion of setup
10. To finish the setup process, head over to the Group Doorman form, and add the name of the tag in the designated field (1). This tag will then be sent over to Omnisend when a new contact is created. Click on the Save and close button (2) after that.
