To integrate SendPulse with Group Doorman, you’ll need to install our Chrome extension for the group you’re currently managing. You’ll also need a SendPulse account.
Adding SendPulse to Group Doorman integrations
1.Let’s start by opening Group Doorman and going to the Manage groups tab (1). Once there, just click on the +Add integration button (2) and you’ll be able to smoothly set up your integration.
2. Next, take a look at the list of integrations that are available, find SendPulse, and click on it.
3. When selecting SendPulse, a setup form will appear. At this stage, you have two options: either create a new account or choose an existing one if you’ve used SendPulse before.
Adding API Url and API key
4. Afterward, navigate to your SendPulse profile. Simply click on your profile icon (1), followed by selecting the Account Settings icon (2) from the drop-down menu that appears.
5. Once you’re on the Settings page, you’ll notice the API tab (1) located at the top. Go ahead and click on it. Your API ID and API Secret will be readily displayed on that page. To conveniently copy the Client ID, just click the Copy ID button (2) situated on the right side of the field.
6. Go to the Group Doorman form and paste your Client ID into the corresponding field.
7. Now, go back to SendPulse and click on the Copy Secret button next to the Secret field.
8. Paste your Client Secret into the corresponding field in the Group Doorman form (1), and then click the Save and continue button (2).
Creating a List
9. Return to SendPulse and locate the Mailing Lists tab on the left-side menu. Simply click on it to proceed.
10. Now click on the Create mailing list button.
11. Name your list (1) and click the Create button (2).
Completion of setup
12. Within Group Doorman, select the list you have recently created (1) in the List field dropdown. If you have made any modifications in SendPulse, click the Refresh fields (2) button. Finally, click on the Save and close (3) button.
