To integrate Moosend with Group Doorman, you’ll need to install our Chrome extension for the group you’re currently managing. You’ll also need a Moosend account.
Adding Moosend to Group Doorman integrations
1.To get started, open up Group Doorman and head over to the Manage groups tab (1). Now click +Add integrations (2).
2. Find Moosend in the list shown and click on it.
3. Choose to create a new account or select an existing one if you have already set up an account for another group and wish to reuse it.
Getting API token
4. Next, go to Moosend, click on your account icon (1), and then click on Settings (2) in the drop-down opened.
5. On the Settings page, select API key (1) in the slide menu. Now click on the Copy button (2) under the field with your API key.
6. Go to the Group Doorman setup form and paste API Key into the corresponding field.
Getting List ID
7. To create a new email list in Moosend, head to the Audience tab in the header (1), and then click on the New button (2). From there, select the Email list (3) from the drop-down options.
8. Name your new email list in the window that appears (1), and then click the Create button (2) to finalize your list.
9. Once you’ve created your email list, you can find the list ID located under the list’s name. To copy it, simply highlight the ID and then use the copy function (CTRL + C or CMD + C).
10. Next, navigate to the Group Doorman form and paste the list ID that you copied earlier into the List ID field (1). Then click on the Save and continue button (2) to move on to the next step.
Creating Custom field at Moosend
Group Doorman allows you to post your group members’ responses to Moosend using custom fields. You’ll need to specify which response corresponds to each field. Additionally, GroupDoorman can automatically generate default custom fields for you. To do this, simply click on the Create Fields for Answers button.
11. To create a custom field manually in Moosend, return to your Moosend account and navigate to the list’s page. On the left-hand menu, select Create custom fields (1), and then click on the Add new custom field button (2) in the upper-right corner of the screen.
12. On the page that appears, give your custom field a name, select the appropriate data type, and then click on the Save custom field button at the bottom of the page to finalize your new custom field.

13. To handle your custom fields in the Group Doorman form, select the fields created in Moosend (1). If you have made any changes to your custom fields in Moosend, refresh the fields in the Group Doorman form by clicking the Refresh fields button (2). Finally, click Save and close (3).
